Vienna Mozart Concerts

The Viennese Mozart Concerts represent one of the highlights of the Viennese musical events. The programme of the Vienna Mozart Concerts is characterized by a very accurate selection of the works. The artistic conception giving ground to the musical sequence of overtures, arias, duets, movements of symphonies and concerts offers powerful insight in the titanic works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The concerts take place in the Golden Hall of the  Musikverein, where the famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is performing the New Year's Concert which is broadcasted worldwide every year.

The special attraction of the orchestra are the Viennese Mozart Concerts performed in historical costumes. The choice of the setting, the program, the authentic costumes and wigs, the enthusiasm of all these young musicians and not least the typical Viennese atmosphere, all contribute to create an ambience which makes the audience feel as though they have stepped back to the end of the 18th century.
